I never thought I’d start a business, but I did.
In 2017, me and a group of college friends decided that men’s dress shirts were simply horrible. Button-down shirts sometimes felt like straitjackets – it was time for change. So we started Blue and White Collar, which later rebranded to &Collar (it was a mouthful). First, we created the performance shirt that stretches and breathes. But it wasn’t enough. We also made it hydrophobic. And then that wasn’t enough. So we made ties. Then pants. And shoes.
While I am no longer involved with the company, it’s been an amazing creative journey in starting a business, writing Kickstarter projects, running social accounts from scratch, understanding e-commerce and more.
